 PRESIDENT GABRIELLE

Message from your President - Gabrielle Gimblett

It was great to see our members come along last Thursday morning to "Have their Say".
Well supported with many ideas, suggestions and lots of positive words on how the Club is going.  We now look forward to
getting the report from Muriel.

At the Board meeting next Tuesday, we will be discussing what Charities/Organisations we will be supporting this Rotary year.
The decision to support the Rotary Programme - Trees for Survival for another year is excellent. Churchill Park School in
Glendowie is committed to keeping TFS as a special school project.  ST Johns Ellerslie RC have donated $4,400.00 towards it.
Club members Peter Buchanan & Kevin Kevany are our contacts with the school & Peter is also a Trustee of TFS.

Our new member Lindy Esslemont will join the Community Committee.
The next Fellowship outing is on 28th August and will be a night out at the "Flying Moa Pub" on Lunn Avenue, Stonefields.
Watch out for further notices about it.

Take care and keep warm

Yours in Rotary
Gabrielle Gimblett
