We are neighbours from Ōrākei to Ellerslie who meet on Thursday mornings and get things done — sailing days for local schools, native planting on Motutapu, a hospital ward in Fiji.

A group of ordinary people who care about where they live
Whether you are early in your career or long retired, we are a mix of backgrounds and cultures joined by a liking for community service and each other’s company. Aside from the weekly meeting we are a busy club: community projects large and small, and plenty of chances to bring partners, family and friends along.
Come as a volunteer, come as a sponsor, or just come and see what a Thursday morning looks like. No guest ever ends up standing on their own.

Every project starts with members who turn up. Most of them end at a café.

Our projects
Have a Go sailing for twelve local schools, Trees for Survival, Motutapu Island restoration, dictionaries in schools, and the Waiyevo Hospital rebuild on Taveuni.
Social & fun times
Buffet tables with no head table and no allocated seating, dinner meetings once a month, and Rotary friendships that turn up in the oddest corners of the world.

Turn up on a Thursday, meet the club, hear the speaker, and decide nothing. Non-Rotarian visitors are very welcome — we just ask that you let us know beforehand so we can look after you properly. Dress is smart casual.
